Hi Today while digging ive found a burried snail and by mistake i broke a piece of his shell. the demage appeard to be sever, the hit is near the lip. after this happened i anted to take the snail home for him to heal befor im returning him. i saw that it takes alot of time for him to come out. noe, about 8 hours later he is kind of out of the shell but he is barley moving and his body is very stiff..I dont understand what is the problem.. is here a chance he is dehydrated? do you have ideas how to help beside humid enviormant?

Shell damage doesn't look too bad at all, damage near the lip is very fixable as it doesn't affect the internal parts. Snail could be stressed / in pain due to shell break, I would provide easily accessible food and a quiet place and leave him alone for a while.

You dont understand his state.. hes behavior is as he is dying. when he tries to extract his eye stalksthey bend down as he is to weak to hold them. he isnt holding the floor , too weak to move himself.. theres something very wrong with him
