Hiya, I picked this guy up (common uk garden snail) after this shell was badly damaged by a mower about ten days ago. Shell has healed and its time to go home. Cool to watch it heal up. But its -1C overnight here at the moment. Will it die if I release it since it has been in my house for ten days? This guy has proper woken up. I did see one other of his brethren outside so I think the others are starting to wake from winter. But he has been inside so I wonder if it will be a shock. Thanks!

Yeah, he may struggle if you release him when it's this cold. Are you able to wait until the weather warms up a bit?
If not, try releasing him at the warmest part of the day and hopefully he'll find somewhere to go hibernate until it's time to wake up.
