Hello! I noticed my snail's mantle looks a bit weird. imgur.com/a/5Vmr7dEIs this a cause for concern? They are eating and moving around regularly.

I see a Cornu aspersum and its mantle looks normal. What is it that seeems to be "weird"?

That's a relief. None of my other snails have their mantle poking beneath the shell like this one does, so I've been worried.

Oh, they do that, I call it "puffy sleepy mantle". I've seen my Adrian like that and before getting to the panic stage of worry, I spent some time googling some questionable word combinations haha and saw a lot of snails like that. I guess it's the equivalent of puffy face in people usually on wakeup? If there is change in behaviour, it stays permanently like that or it is protruding more than that or you can straight see an edge, then it is worrysome. But if its just a bit like rounded barely much over where the shell ends, snaily is being .."round" haha. You know, like how their heads become when they're eating something they like.
