Hey guys- just found some white mites on my amber snails. I have been looking into hypoaspis miles. I just put my first culture of springtails into my snail terrarium- will the hypoaspis mites kill my springtails? I'm seeing conflicting information online- some say yes, some say no. I was hoping some of you guys may have personal experience. Thank you :-)

springtails are used as a food source when cultivating hypoaspis miles. So I guess, yes they will eat your springtails. That may depend on the species of springtails you have, it's probably a good idea to put your springtails into a different container. Or - if you really have Riccardoella mites on your amber snails (IN your amber snails, that is) you could try alternative curing methods: petsnails.proboards.com/thread/18854/slug-mites-riccardoella-limacum
