Hi guys,
Should I put earthworms in my terrarium for nematode control?
I currently have: 2 adult amber snails, various ages of hatchlings (the oldest being no more than a couple of months old), springtails and woodlice.
I have now noticed some tiny critters in top of the soil that look like glitter when they move in the light. From researching on this forum I have concluded they are most likely nematodes, hopefully the harmless C. elegans.
In your opinions, would it be beneficial to put a few earthworms in to control the nematode population?
Thank you 🙂
I just wanted to add that these shiny little bugs are seemingly overtaking every inch of soil in my tank and I'm nervous that they are going to cause issues with my snails. Will they?
