Hi, i recently got a new pet snail.... I got it from my garden and have identified it as a common garden snail. I am an experienced snail keeper and have been doing it for years but i have never been able tou find out how old my snails are. I was wondering if there is any way of knowing how old they are.
Keep loving snails Tilda xx

It's hard to say unless you've owned them before they're mature. If its shell flares at the opening, its an adult, and is at least 2 years old. if not, its younger.
