One of my garden snails laid eggs last month, about 30-40 total. Most of them were gorgeous perfect eggs but about 1/4 of them I could tell wouldn’t hatch.
Fast forward 4 weeks later, two have hatched and they’re growing really fast and look super healthy. The rest of the eggs haven’t hatched, even those that look totally normal and healthy.
It’s now February 1 and the eggs were laid December 28. I’ve raised a lot of clutches, easily 10-15, and I’ve never once had it take them this long to hatch, and they also tend to hatch within a couple days of each other.
Conditions are good, they’re in a separate container with the same soil they were laid in and I mist it every day or every other day depending.
Has anyone had this happen before? Is there a chance of the others hatching at this point?

Late reply but I'm wondering if there's any change? Did they hatch in the end? It's possible you just got unlucky and loads were infertile even if it wasn't obvious from their appearance.
