and there 13 pounds, or in the US roughly about 18 dollars i think. does the price seem worth it? and if anyone wants to know were this place is ill send directions Via PM.

For fulicas, that's a really bad price. For margies, it depends on how much you want them but certainly isn't vastly expensive. Do they do mail order? Any chance of finding out what other species they can get hold of?

for fulica thats crazy money, they should be free I've saw margies go for far more and also far less so it depends how much you really want it. Just make sure it is a margie! Brian.

pink rounded apex, purples pink collumela (or how ever you pronounce it) and genrally looks bigger than the adult fulcias Sounds like an archachatina marginata var. suturalis, but that's just a guess considering there's no pics. A little bit overpriced (usually around £8-10 for non-albinos) but certainly not enough to make it over the top. I'd pay that considering they're not that commonly available. Not rare by a long shot but not as prolific as your average fulica Check here for ids, really helpful: www.petsnails.co.uk/species/

I think it's a fairly good deal considering you'd have to pay postage from elsewhere Good luck! I'm after some normal coloured suturalis in the New Year, so I'm rather jealous

ive had to scrap the margie concept... i bought ONE adult fulcia of eBay, wont name names (thou im not sure if there a member of this forum) and today, when i opened the incredibly small box that it came in, i found not one, not two, not even 3, but 5 heads looking at me, so im rather over crowded with unexpected arivals, and its just my bad luck that i also orded six baby ones to that should be coming soon, its a good thing ive got a whole cellar to accomodate them, but im going to have to buy extra heat mats, tanks, food , cuttlefish ect. and some of them.. there shells are so cracked(though the cracks have healed) that they some what resemble smashed eggs....also when i get the time im gonna post a pick of the adult fulcia i got, (the other 4 are about 3 to 4 icnhes in lentgh) cus im farely sure hes got some sort of calcium deficiency as the shell is almost pure marble white except the last spiral which doesnt exactly look colourful either...

Well it is really nice that you are so willing to look after them all, rather unfair though to send you more than what you wanted.

perhaps you could name this seller? Wouldn't want it to happen to other members, getting a shock like that. have you contacted the seller to ask what's going on? be interesting to hear their reply.

Thanks for the warning - was looking at their listing before when it was recommended on my thread about big fulicas. How big were the ones you got?
