Am so happy - have just found some baby L. fulica eggs. I knew Dent was laying as she was in the same place where I left her this morning when I arrived home this evening. I have given her a slice of strawberry - she must be exhausted. Oh, I'm going to be a granny at 40!
Please, no-one tell me off! I know strawberries have a high oxalate content. One wee slice will be OK and she deserves a treat.
Love 'em

Update on L. fulica eggs
We have four babies that are growing at an extraordinary rate. They are lovely.
Unfortunately, no other eggs hatched.
Also, Dent has made a full recovery - I still think it was the porridge that turned her around.

Hi,
No way will I try and take a photo!!!! Can't even get the huge margies in focus. They are sweet though, and they are taking on colour, too.
Am really well, thanks for asking! Hope you are well - you've been busy with the rescues - bless you!
