this morning some very special new snails came 2 Limicolaria flammeathey have white shells, about 2cm, with red-brown diagonal flames and pale bodies with three stripes dwn the neck. The shell has a shouldered periphery. They are from West Africa and grow to around 65mm shell length. www.achatinidae.com/Allgemeines/Gattungen/Limicolaria/L__flammea/l__flammea.html2 Lissachatina fulica rufescensApparently this is a newly discovered sub-species of fulica. Apparently they have a red shell when adult. Mine are 1.5cm big and have white shells with very faint red stripes, and dark grey skin, like the colour of rodatzii. Apparently they did DNA tests to prove it was a sub-species. Theyre so wonderful and beautiful YAY ;D

ummm....i was talking to my non-snail friend and i said 'i got these really rare snails' and i showed her a picture and then she was like 'oh ive got some of those' apparently her sister used to work at the zoo and gave her some babies. apparently they breed a lot so she can give me some eggs when she gets them. then everyone can have them
