today i got some new snails firstly i got an ALBINO RETICULATA awww shes so gorgeous its been so cold last night so i was so glad she was ok. i called her Angel shes gorgeous. secondly, the mystery eggs hatched. theres loads of possibilities what they could be, but theyre soooo tiny! like 3mm! ive got about er....70. they look like newborn fulicas but thats impossible ive never had a fulica in that tank. maybe the rodatzii self-fertilised or something....i cant wait till they grow up

ok every single possibility, however small:
iredaleiXsmithii (fairly probable) brown panthera (maybe, but only 1 is active and sexually mature) tiger (hmm...doubt it) rodatzii (self-fertilisation)
have to wait and see...they look a bit yellow...and theyre TINY. eating loads tho...really pleased. about 90% of the eggs hatched (could that be a clue to what they are)

iredaleiXsmithii (fairly probable) Don't iradelei have live offspring and therefore cant crossbreed? Or am I thinking of a different type?

Yes they do have live young, but whether they can crossbreed or not is still a question.

the smithii mated with the iredalei, and could have laid eggs from that mating.
anyway the babies are yellow. maybe rodatzii or smithii-iredalei.

i wonder if it was a crossbreed between a smithii/iradelei would it lay eggs or give birth? well the smithii would lay eggs and the iredalei would give live birth. the other iredalei has had some babies but i cant tell if theyre crossbreed because theyre quite young.
