Yeah Ive got one of them too... I think.. are those the things that light up inside with all that red lightning stuff? if so, then you might have some evil snail geniuses... better watch out: ''yeah yeah, so when he comes in to feed us we bonk him on the head? then its WORLD DOMINATION!!!''

Yes, it's a Bi-orb. Picked it up cheap from the local pet shop as it was ex-display. It works really well for the snalis as it gives them 360 degrees of glass surface to climb on.
Sophie, I think you're thinking of a plasma ball. Not sure how comatible they are with snails (toxic gases and high voltage inside), but it would certainly be an interesting effect! The Bi-orb just a fancy fish tank.

lol Jody had a large stick insect (phasmid) fall on him a week or so back. It was on the bedroom door. He hates stick insects so he completely freaked. Serves him right! ;D (he was mean to me)
