cochlodina laminata...yes..do you know what they actually eat? im just concerned that such small snails eat things that cannot me provided.

well seeing they come from woodland thats like 5 minutes from my house i can provide it it will be leaf litter mainly i presume. as for the elegans.

yes they are widespread in england but rare in other parts of the british isles. climbs tree trunks in wet weather, most abundant on calcareous soils.
there are 6 snails in the Clausiliidae family, C. laminata being the biggest and most slender.

Perhaps the shell is much thinner comparitively than the likes of Rumina decollata that have to break the spire off.

ohh i always wondered why decollata dont have a spire. but if the shell is thick how do they break off the top?
