Brown Form Lissachatina panthera Why do you think they are the brown form, they look striped to me, even if the stripes are less thin than normal? What always impressed me about the brown form was that they were so uniform.

Well, Raphael knows what he's doing so they must be. I'm really surprised, they don't look much different than my striped form, I suppose there is polymorphism in al species

I do know what you mean, but Kevin's look like they have much more distinct and darker stripes than the ones on that link But I suppose when you compare them to a proper striped form, the difference is more obvious.

I did get my snails from Raphael too. He never mentioned what kind they were, but since I allready had a very dark form of L.panthera, I presumed that the ones I got from Raphael were the striped ones... They are completely different, my brown ones are very dark, not much of stripes and the ones from Raphael is very striped. Have a look of the one I presumed were the striped form: www.zoonen.com/res/user/472968/galleri/506233/img_0282_orig_SE.jpgI'll try to get some photos of the dark ones I've got too. Best wishes Fredrik - just passing by

I also heard there was a "blue form" to add to the confusion,on Christabels site is a good example. The striped form might actually come very close to how immaculata's look,or maybe are immaculata.Kevins brown form pantheras look indeed very stripey :/

Here are my striped form panthera They are smaller than the "brown" form ones, so it'll be interesting to see how stripey they are when they're larger.
