The bigger one never comes out when not in the tank. The smaller one is off and on nipping on the sepia-mixture, but today he did stretch himself over that and it looked so funny. Tried different things to them (too an grinded eggshell, but could try to give it to them in bigger pieces. Maybe they then it eat...will try tomorrow and boil an egg.

I feed my snails a mix every few days:
25% Calcium 30% Hemp 15% Oats 10% Chicken Mash 10% Sunflower Kernels 10% Pumpkin Seed
They get fresh fruit and veg the rest of the time.
When I had a snail eating it's own shell I made it 50% calcium and it solved the problem within 2 days. So far this is the only food that all my snails will eat, including my Megalobulimus who are the fussiest of the lot.

All my other snail eat this mixture (in variations), but I don´t get an piece of calcium in those lignus. Tomorrow I am boiling an egg and then will put an half of the eggshell into the tank on the roof and hope they will try on that. My other snailies too love the grinded seedsmixture with cuttlefish.

There is a list... um.. hang on lol. *looks* Here! www.petsnails.co.uk/docs/calcium_in_food.htmlIt tells you how much calcium is in certain food. Maybe that will help? Oyster shells and baby milk powder are also other calcium sources from the petsnails site.
