You have very nice snails. How big is the biggest fulica, tiger and margie that you have? And your garden snails, how are they?

Sarah have you got a photo editing program for your pictures (often the program comes with the camera)? It's dead easy to do if you need some help. Lovely snails though

Like the tigers... And the margie of course. Do captive bred ones grow as big as them?

My biggest fulica is 11cm, the margie is 12cm and the tiger is 13-14cm shell length.
The garden snails are fine, i narrowed them down a bit, kept one of each colour and a few aspersa.
I'd say with the right diet and enough room they can grow as big as wild bred ones, and mine are still growing a lot! :-)

Yay I can see them all easily now lol. Good job Sarah. I love the shell on that smithii. Nice to see I'm not the only one who can't think of names lol. I have 5 snails un-named still I'm trying to think of names from films I like lol. Or tv shows.

there you go Paul all resized :-) Ta! I wasn't being arsey, its just a shame to miss such great pics! I love Jacko, I wonder if he is a different subspecies of tiger, his stripes are very wavey and I seem to recall a similar subspecies. I'll have a look and get back to you. We think there are 2 types in captivity anyway, the small canary-yellow shelled ones and the large, deep orange ones like yours which are the nominate race (we think!)
