Hi, I know this subject is covered near the bottom of the help page but it doesn't really help as I just don't have a clue as to how to post piccies up. I took some a few minutes ago of a couple of snails, one of which may be Archachatina Ustulata, the other is similar but a different species and wondered if anyone could identify them, hence the need to post pictures.
Any ideas please? How do other people post their pictures?
Thank you - Ness x

Hiya, Wow, that's a quick reply, thank you.
Photo Bucket? Never heared of them, what do they do? I don't have an account with any online photo editing doodaahs. I simply plug in my memory card and upload photos straight onto our computer, using FinePix package. I assumed that from there I could transfer photos to where-ever I liked, including this Forum.
Do I need to sign up to something?
Thanks x

Umm I would think so it doesn't cost anything I upload from my phone etc onto the computer and put them in a file called my snail pictures for example then I log into photo bucket and upload the images from the folder re-size them then copy and paste and believe me if I can do it anybody can.Or maybe pm them to me and I will try for you, probably won't let me do it now I've said that,

Yeah, you just need to put the pictures on the web somewhere and link to them in your post. You could use: photobucket.com/or www.mypetpages.net/There are others... If you're still struggling, email them to me at p a u l @ p e t s n a i l s . c o . u k and I'll put them online for now. Include the word "snail" in the subject to get past my spam filter. Obviously you need your own picture hosting for your convenience in the future but I'll stick these pics up for you.

I use tinypic.com. You can't have an account there like you do at other photo-sharing websites, but if all you need is a url for a pic to post on a forum, tinypic is great. It's quick and easy. You can upload video too.

Hi again
I was offline (due to hubbie hogging the computer) for most of yesterday and today, I've come back to find all of your replies and I'm very grateful indeed. Offering to post the piccies for me via sending them to you is really appreciated, thanks Paul and GastropodGirl. Thanks thanks xx
I've mangaed to come across a site called ImageShack with free registration, it looks easy to use but I haven't had time to try yet, though I have just registered. Hopefully on Thursday when I next get the chance to use the computer I'll post some snaily piccies up.
Much aprreciated and I really mean that. x
