yes I built it ;D It's a Mercury Vapour light that provides both heat and UV, it has a yellowy tinge to it but it does look like kinda greeny in the pics Brian.

he is lovely was actually looking at lizards today.... decisions decisions! the set up there is billiant and he is such a babe!

bearded dragons really do make great pets. if you are considering a lizard give some thought a to getting a beardie!

a bearded dragon is defo on the list and also a cameleon! they are so lovely!!! how big is boris.. cant really tell... will he get any bigger or has he stopped growing? jess

he is almost 24" long including tail. Bearded dragons attain then full length with there first year and after that they just bulk up a bit. Boris is 9 now so he finished growing a LONG time ago Brian ;D

they seem to "spread" when basking.. they look so fat! ....lol as soon as they stand up though its all gone whats he like at being handled? is he tame? coz i dont want a lizard that goes for you!.. have enough of that with my parrot jess

depends how you raise it. mine is as tame as you can get, but i got him at just a few inches long.
it's like most animals, if you get them used to being handled when young they are fine, if not you may always have problems.
