hey all, i keep readin stuff in posts and on websites about growing stuff in the snails' tank. mine are inbig ol' plastic storage tubs can i grow stuff in it? especially moss, i'd love to be able to do that...cos i can't afford a proper terrarium/vivarium *sighs* thanks xXx

You don't need a terra or viv, plastic boxes are fine, all mine are kept in boxes because i can't afford it.
I would love a viv to keep the snails in and will most likely get on in the future but you can grow ferns and Ivy in tubs ;D

any kinda ferns? it just my tanks are lookin a bit woeful at the mo can't afford much to put in em. I bin nickin stones n stuff from the great Welsh countryside *hehe*

I think any fern is on, as long as its een washed fully.

i not bin nickin plants just some good ol' welsh slate, can't get enough of the stuff i wouldn't know what plants to nick anyways i scared of puttin sumfin poisonous in there *gulps*

I had an African violet in my tank. It did pretty well for a long time, but it got old and died. The snails never bothered it.
