Are they using a different type of substrate to the other snails or is their tank different to their parents' tank in any way? I don't know what to suggest, but katie's suggestion of giving them a warm bath and placing them on top of a slice of cucumber sounds like a good idea. That always gets my two to come out and say hello! Good luck with them, I hope the little ones get better soon!

I would second the warm bath and some food, cucumber, carrot, lettuce etc. Mine have sealed themselves up plenty of times and just wake up and start eating when I do this. Good luck.

Thanks everyone did as you suggested and also seperating them so that there weren't so many in tank together. Some didn't make it but most did and my biggest is now nearly 2 inches long at two months old.
