I have had a really pretty very active golden apple snail for half a year now. A few days ago I bought her a companion. A blue mystery snail. At first i thought Qi-gong was just shy, but now it is lying on the tank floor with this white stuff on it's neck.. i have a picture. He's just lying there.. Tai-chi is still doing her normal stuff, eating plants and cruising round her bowl.. She's checked on Qi-gong more then once, and i'm afraid of her getting sick! What should I do, what is wrong with my new snail.. T_T Thank you Kiti

I'm afraid i don't really know much about aquatic snails, but isomeone at snails2die4.com should be able to help, they are an aquatic snail forum.

I posted this exact message on Snails2die4, before i posted it on here. No one has replied yet. Funny thing is he's up and about now, he seems to have bouts of not feeling good, but i'm not sure if i'm reading to much into his behavior. I am new at this after all. They're in a nice tank, healthy plants, clean water, and a heater. So.. i'm sure he came with his ailment when I bought him, if he is sick. Which i'm not even sure he is now. I see them 6 or more times a day where the tank is located, so it's easy to keep an eye on them. Thank you for the attempts at helping me.

I think the snails2die4 site isn't very active anymore.Better try www.applesnail.net ,then click discussions, which takes you to the forum.
