Try soggy porridge oats - when I went through my 'professor' stage as a child I used to go snail hunting and mark their shells and see where they ended up - they used to be attracted to the porridge oats, though as it is getting a bit colder I have noticed the snails in our garden aren't so active now. Happy hunting!

when i feed my cat i put some gocat treats on the floor at night and i find up to 20 normal garden snails there are load's and there big so try gocat food or dry food they love it even when they come in your back door

I generally find Garden snails (Heix aspera), White lipped snails (Cepaea hortensis) Brown Lipped snails (Capaea nemaralis) and small Cellar Snails (Oxychilus alliarius) on wall particular after rain fall or damp murky days. One of my favourites since I was very young is (Cepaea hortensis) lovely coloured shells.
