Hello everyone! Sorry haven't been on for AGES but I'm b-a-c-k!!! So, really wanting a couple more tiger snails and have found this person on line "Snail Mama" - has anyone heard of her? She's only asking £15 per snail, but then there's the extra "airmail" postage costs she needs to calculate, and she's asking for money to be paid via Western Union, not Paypal. All sounds a bit dodgy to me - anyone had any experience of this, or heard of her? Or does anyone have some tigers they'd like me to rehome to save all this hassle?!! What?!! It's worth asking!!! I seem to be becoming a bit "over run" at the mo, and would like to concentrate on my megas, asians, margies and tigers. I may therefore have some other snails I need to rehome, which I'll put on the Classifieds list - rodatzi, iredeli, immac pink lips. Anyway, off-subject ...I'm rambling! .... what does everyone think of this importing business? Viva snaily love xxx

don't, it smacks of scam, every time people get scammed and have paid by western union they loose all their money, no way to get it back. sounds totally dodgy, i'd steer clear.

One of the members of this board has an importer who lives nearby - heydihoo - might be worth asking him if his guy has any tigers or will be getting any. I've had snails via this guy and they arrive in good condition.

Sounds right dodgy, I definately wouldnt part with my money, its hard enough trying to get something back through paypal but at least you have a chance. Ade

It would almost certainly be a scam, nearly all snails advertised directly from Africa are.
