Hi! I asked my mum if I could post any snails out of Korea or any country and said it was impossible..?? Cuz they don't allow it or something. She said it was ok if I didn't say what's inside but if they find out there'll be big money penalty?? Not sure.. Just suddenly wondering Thanks

some countries don't let animals to get in...in australia they're deadly strict and you have at least to declare...to avoid natural catastrophies...you should as to the post

i think best thing is to go to a postoffice and check with them, they should know for sure, if it is either totally impossble or if you just need to get some permission

If it's not legally allowed, there's probably a good reason (good to people other than snail enthusiasts, that is) -- probably due to agricultural concerns. It is taking a big risk to circumvent the law.

Introducing relatively harmless animals, insects etc into a new ecosystem can have devastating effects. Some chap introduced a dozen rabbits to Australia so he had something to shoot at, now they're turning unimaginably vast areas of arable land into desert because there were no natural predators to keep their numbers down. For that matter, Bodmin Moor and Exmoor are the result of neolithic people bringing goats and sheep into the area - they used to be vast primeval forests, and thousands of year later they're still largely scrubland. You might think a species is harmless, but there's no way to predict the effect it'll have.

in some areas of USA gals are prohibited because they would make hundreds of children that would destry their agricolture with no natural enemy and no natural climate killing like in sweden for example
