those who know me know, i dont keep many margies i only have four , three of whom are little people, so whilst cleaning them today i noticed chestnut has little white dots on his skin, hes always had them they just seem to be more noticeable as hes gotten older. Does anyone else have these on their snails, or is it a disease / parasite . Regards ( sorry just not sure if this is something specific to A.Marginata or not ) Ade

Some snails ive found have slightly different or bumpier skin to their fellows of the same breed, however, when i first got my puylaerti, i was awaiting a delivery of moss so put them straight into peat as some of my other snails prefer it, it developed white bumps all over it's skin similar to those in your pic and when i changed to moss they dissappeared.... could be an irritation due to the substrate.... could just be your snails own unique skin bumps.... could be a new breed, marginata var. bumpy! I do have margies, but mine are quite young and their skin does not appear to have white bumps..... yet?

Ive never put my puy's back into anything other than moss so could have been coincidence but don't want to try it out again in case it does bother him!

That looks odd. All I can add is that I have never seen something like that in my margies, i keep mine on organic potting soil by the way.
