How long can a snail carry eggs for?
Little Kenny has been lugging his eggs around with him for a good fortnight now - I still see them cooking, he just hasn't laid them yet...??!!!!
Kenny's missus however has laid 2 batches already!!!
How long is normal for a snail to hold onto them before laying?

Sometimes snails hold onto eggs for ages, they don't lay until they think its the right time. You could try putting in a couple of extra food types, sometimes that seems to trigger laying.

You could aslo try stimulate him to lay by introducing new substrate types into the tank. for example, depending on what you allready use, to put in a plastic tub with damp moss or potting soil or perhaps compost. It could be that he just havent found a good spot to lay yet and is unsatisfied with the substrate provided. I've found that some snails are fussier than others when it comes to this.
