give them warm baths (not hot water, lukewarm) and keep them at a steady hot temperature, spray them, and give them fresh veggies. also the very small ones, you should isolate them. If any one of them starts smelling badly, means its dead

do not leave the small ones in the water for a long time and if the size is very big yes you have to seperate them

The news is another 3 went I was reading last night that is really hard to save them from deep retraction My snails have all the symptoms they are not looking good I waste money and time but this is not a problem is that I cannot stop thinking that i am doing something wrong or not doing everything to stop them from passing away At the moment the situation is 1st quarantine tank temp 21C 2x albino reticulata about 3cm 2x rodatzi about2cm 1 wood snail all not doing well not eating not moving 3 attempts to woke them up fresh food and all but nothing yet worked for longer than 10 to 20 min 2nd quarantine tank temp 23C 3x albino reticulata about 5mm in size little more active last night after 2nd attempt to woke them 6x just hatched snails In the parcel was 15 eggs with albino fulica, albino reticulata, rodatzi cannot tell which is which they are to small The very small ones are little better than the rest only one found dead last night and 4x Brazilian trumpets spend long time buried but when i pick them they start going around and eat little bit Thats where i found the previous dead together 5 so far all around 5-6 mm big Big tank 2 adult fulicia parents about 13cm happy as ever Preschool tank with 20 fulicia babies around 1cm All my Fulicia are happy eating, playing football, reading, watching TV so I can tell the difference between them and the quarantine tanks with the new arrivals. Please tell me what else I can do to help the new snails

I'm so sorry about your snails. As you said, deep retraction is a difficult problem. No one really knows what causes it or how to treat it. Most of the time we do our best for our snails but sometimes they pass away in spite of that. I suspect that many times there is nothing that can be done for them, and that is hard to accept.

This sounds very similar to an experience I have had, bought 2 snails but when they arrived I had been sent 9! Mine had been packed like sardines in a tub with no air holes no room to even stretch while in the postal system I don't know if this was the cause? From the beginning it was hard to get them out to eat, and one by one they retracted and died, hopefully this won't happen to yours, I have 3 left that are well now 2 approx 6 month old snails and one baby that is the size of a 1 month old snail despite me having had her for 3 now and she is only just growing, nothing I did could help, I do have a little advice that may help towards the end I bought pumpkin seeds that seemed to help and also when I started seeing inprovements in any of the snails I moved them from the ill ones the one time I didn't do this because I didn't want to risk putting it in with some that had recovered he then went back to retracting and then died, I also suggest you never touch your healthy snails without wasshing your hands just in case it's something that can be passed on, luckily I didn't mix mine with them or I don't know if I would have lost all my snails. I wish you all the best with your snails and hope they all recover x

If he is gone start retracting we can be sure that is some kind of diesis I will be contacting the seller I did not done yet as I was too upset I will let you know after few days how the fulicia and the rest is doing i work some mad hours this week so my girlfriend keeps eye on them. She is not expert but I am still hoping to save some
