I have a little (Garlic?) Snail... And it is not moving... It doesn't smell bad! And the other day Captain Mollusk was fine!I give them Cuttle-Fish bones and carrots and sometimes lettuce... Still Captain Mollusk isn't moving... I take it out and out it with my other snail... Put it on lettuce.... Nothing....

The only time Captain Mollusk wakes up is at late at night... I know they are nocturnal... But why is Speedy crawling all over the place as long as Speedy is out of his carrier?

HI
Wild snails sometimes simply stop to move for unknown reasons yet. Honestly, I think that your snail is just resting, don´t worry. On the other hand , sometimes, we may collect a old snail, then maybe he´s just about to leave us in few time... This is all natural, I think. I´m not aware about your keeping conditions, so I´m sorry if this doesn´t help you at all...

Sometimes the shock of being brought into a tank can make it hard for a snail to adjust to its new surroundings, even if the tank is set up well.
Also, different snails have different personalities. Some are a lot more bold than others. Perhaps this one is just a little shy.
It's hard to say, there are a lot of reasons why your snail isn't moving. Give him a few days to settle down and try not to disturb him -- he may just need some time to adjust. Let us know how he is doing!

Captain Mollusk is fine at like 9:00 PM (American Time), which is late at night... When the sun is down and the stars are out... Is there any way I could train Captain Mollusk?

Train him to do what? Be active during the daytime? I don't think that's possible, unless you could provide a lot of darkness during the daytime and make it bright at night.

But why is Speedy exploring during the day?

the more snails you have, the more you see their patterns. Some will be active at any time day or night, some will only come out in the evening. As long as your snails are eating well and active at some point on a regular basis I wouldn't worry.
Snails can learn to a certain extent. they learn to know where things are in their environment, but I don't know if it's possible to train a snail to come out during the day. I have doubts.
You could try by spraying him with water every day at 12:00 noon, and placing him next to food, but to be honest I think it's best if you leave them to their natural snaily rythms and routines, else you may cause some stress.

Well, when I got my african snails I where giving them daily baths, in hope of making them a bit more active during day (and also cause I wanted to handle them ). Kept doing this for maybe a month, but every time I placed them back in their tank, they mostly went to sleep again, and maybe had a little nibble at their food before going back to sleep again. So, I kinda gave up, mostly because of several reasons, the snails not changing their sleeping times, and also cause I started to think a bit about their overall health, e.g I know that people that change their sleeping time can get temporally sick due to the body having to re adjust itselfm, so might be the same with snails, and also cause I treat them more like well, aquarium fishies, handling them less for their own healths sake and mostly just watch them.
