I don't think anyone can encourage a snail to breed. It has to feel like it. It may take time. Be patient and let your snails go along at their own pace. They may surprise you if you let them do things their own way.

You can't force animals do anything if they don't feel like it. I think some people are little bit too greedy when they think you could trick them to mate. I think when terrarium animal any kind of feels like home, gets right care, food and conditions. I think they then lay eggs if they feel like it. You just have to wait. Some wants to snails stop laying eggs and some wants them to start laying but you have to accept which kind of snails you get. I have heard about snails that have never made any eggs so they lay when they feel like it. Even if I run out of peat and they have really little substrate in terrarium they lay eggs anyway so there's nothing really to get them stop or start breeding.

Believe me, snails know when it is spring. They can tell the increasing daylight and the warming temperatures. They know.

Careful not to keep em in direct sunlight though, you don't want to dry out the whole tank
