Oh I thought there where only two species in the cepaea family? Hortensis and nemoralis, although I'm not very good with snail species xD But are they wild caught or have they been breed in captivity? If they are wild caught, I wouldn't keep it together with captive breed snails.. If they require the same care as fulicas and jadetzis, they could live with them for a bit I suppose, but not forever though, since i bet that your african snails will get a lot bigger than these cepeas, and having a too big size difference isn't that good due to possible injuries. Hope someone else can shine some light on these cepeas habitat requirements

I tink they dont need very high tempreture (my cepea hortnortis's have a damp warm soil) If yo keep them in your bedroom you could put them on windowsill, aslong as they arnt GALS if they breed you can release the eggs but are they a native species to england like say i had some and didnt want eggs could i release the egs? I tink they need a slightly warm but not cld enviroment. i wouldent pu them with gals (if cepeas caught a desease or pest the gals wouldet be usedt it) Can i ask whats the diffrence between them and cepea hornotis?

You never can release eggs in will if isn't native and you have to make sure too that you release in right place and right species, every species don't live everywhere neither even if they would be native.
I think it's stupid too. It should be in everyones knowledge that if you get snail you have to kill eggs if you can't keep them.
It's against law to set free something that don't belong in nature and would you like that nature balance goes off it's track for same reason a. fulicas is pest many places of world and now illegal to keep as pets. I would not really release snails eggs back to wild. Some species here is pest too, because they have high hatching rate and they mate really often.

I am not going to release any unwanted eggs into the wild. I dont think they are native to this country. Even my fulicas I freeze the eggs if I dont want them.
I dont have snails in my bedroom, they are in my front room so my kids can see them too.
If there is someone who can advise on temp and humidity Ik would be grateful
Thanks
