just dont know what to do for him now i dont know if i should put him to sleep or if i should leave him as he is i dont wnt him to be in pain

It's hard to say if he's in pain, but at the least there will be discomfort and I don't know of any snail ever surviving gut extrusion... I think the kindest thing might be to put the poor thing to sleep, rather than let him go slowly Sometimes we just have no idea why this happens.

Sometimes we just have no idea why this happens. That's why I have learned with snails that you never know when you gonna lose them. You just have to take most of it within that time you will have some specific snail.

ive only had him about a week thats the most fustrating thing i got him as a friend to my margie and this happens and im a bit of a wimp with things like this think im going to try and write a snail book ive only found one and it was manly bout fulicas there should be more easy access information bout the other species in shops rather than the internet

If it was my snail, I'd put it in the freezer. (I've had to do that when a couple of my snails have had swollen mouth.) I've never heard of a snail surviving gut extrusion. As far as I know, there is no treatment for it.

i didnt need to put him in the freezer he passed away last night i hadnt even given him a name yet just been calling him lil buddy guess thats his name then Bye lil buddy slime free
