well, i'm going away for th weekend but couldn't get anyone to look after my retic and fuli, so i have tried to set up my GALS box so they will be alright: i have supplied them with plenty of (if not too much) sweet potato, courgette, lettuce as i have found that these all last quite well, and of course cuttle and limestone flour. temperature isn't really an issue as i have a heat mat and will leave it on while i'm gone. for the humidity issue i have sprayed them well before i go, as well putting by the heat mat two wet cloths in a tub so the water will hopefully evaporate i just wanted to know if people thought this was a good set up and if there was anything else i needed to consider, i will tell you how it went when i get back!!!

Try also leaving a shallow dish of water that the snails can sit in for some moisture if they want.

If snails need high humidity or terrarium dry out soon make sure that you cover most of air holes example if air holes are on terrariums roof just put some hard covered book on most of air holes. Plenty of food and calsium to terrarium too. Food for vocation is best to be something hard like whole courgette carrot etc.

the only thing with living an open dish of water is that they are still quite small and i don't like to leave them on their own in case they drown.

Well don't fill it too deep then, simples. You're only going away for the weekend? You don't really need to do anything extra to be honest

If it's only the weekend, I'd only be concerned about the humidity. I don't think food will be a problem.

Just do the same thing, but give extra food.
