My name is Arivind Abraham (www.arivindabraham.com) and I am helping an MA Film student from the Uni of Westminster produce her graduation film titled Y3llow. We are in desperate need of a snail owner who could volunteer their pet snail and it's habitat for Tuesday, 10/08/2010, for a shoot down in a house on Portobello Road. You may have noticed that my art director, Estela has also posted, looking for anyone who can help. We're not looking for a huge snail, just something pretty average that a regular Joe would keep. I have attached the script so you can see the context of the guy who own the snail in the film. In exchange we'll cover your transport, feed you and you can enjoy a day on set with us. We would really appreciate help from any of you as we are struggling to find a snail for the shot. Kind Regards, Arivind Abraham Attachments:

Very interesting shooting draft; I'd be interested in seeing the finished project. The draft might make some hesitate to offer their snails, though, without some prior reassurance.

Am aware of that but the real snail is only being used for the establishing shot of it, after that we are using props and the owner would be free to clear the snail off set. Do you happen to know of anyone in London who could help? We are really getting desperate and are shooting on Tuesday!
Cheers, Arivind

Hey Lee2211,
Just sent you a PM telling you to look at the first message on this thread for a link to the script. Please let me know if you are London based, have a snail and might be willing to help the production.
Kind regards, Arivind Abraham

Sorry, I'm not London based, I'm miles away in Bath, otherwise I'd have done it. Also, if you end up buying a snail frm a shop, what do you plan to do with it afterwards?
