I have a great new perspex tank for my 4 big fulicas. I have made a perspex lid with lots of holes drilled in it. The only problem is the humidity - according to the hygrometer it is 90%! Previously they were in a big geo tank and this got too dry. They all seem quite happy & active, and I have cut down on spraying, but I guess that in the long run humidity this high is not good, right? Its quite difficult to maintain a good temp and humidity, get one right & the other goes nuts!

As long as the snails are happy and active I wouldn't worry too much. My tanks are often at a high humidity and the snails seem to love it. As long as the substrate is not sopping wet it should be fine - humidity in the air encourages the snails to be active. If you are worried, I try to air my tanks for a while each day with the doors open, just remove the lid for a while to let in some fresh air.
