I was looking through the web statistics today and I noticed that today only the demand for information on Helix lucorum is astronomical. I thought they may all be coming from one link someone has placed somewhere, even though my page only has a shell picture unfortunately, but they actually have come from all over the place.
So I'm wondering if they have made the news or been on a tv/radio programme? Anyone know? I'm just curious and you may have been one of the people!

As far as I know they haven't been in the spotlight recently.

Havent seen anything obvious, although Ive managed to get these repoducing steadily now.
They are the main edible snail, and are farmed in this country. Perhaps a local interest?

Possibly, it's hard to say. Most have come from the UK and the US and the US ones may be UK AOLers.
