My 3 month old fulica Henry is looking , growing and eating really well but I feel a bit sorry for him becuase he doesn't have any company, I don't really want to breed because I don't want 200 little babies running round the place, so I was wondering if you can put to snails in together but wont breed, and it looks like he's got a love dart aswell. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

Just get another snail and put the eggs in the freezer as you get them.

you could buy a diffrent species such as a reticulata, they wont breed and if they do the eggs will never hatch

you could buy a diffrent species such as a reticulata, they wont breed and if they do the eggs will never hatch Retics tend to like extra heat though. I have achatina fulica (which I'm assuming is the species you have) for rehoming. I rescued them from someone who I used to help. He couldn't look after them and got me to clean them out for him, in the end I took them and am now rehoming them. I have 31 and all the require is a bit extra calcium, which isn't a problem. They are getting big, between 2-3" and are great characters. PM me if you're interested

Just freeze the eggs, it is no big worry however, I have 2 snails, frodo is a year and a half and has been alone since hatching, he is fine and is thriving very well I have a 1 week old baby called Garry who I intend to put in with frodo in a few months when he is bigger they are the same species, if you freeze the eggs, it is not cruel, they have no brain functions

i have a retic and fuli together and they seem to be fine, keep it slightly on the hot side though as it is true that retics like it a bit warmer, and fulis are more adaptable.

That's true.
Maybe it's just because I'm fussy. I have to have different species seperate :/

I keep fulis and retics together too, they do just fine. As 101 says, MOST fulis are happy in a range of environments and will do just fine in the warmer, damper conditions that retics favour.
