Yes I'm disappointed as well I can only get online in the evenings, too busy during the day to log on so I often miss out. Val

Same here Val. I work all day, so can't log in till late in the day so anything posted daytime is long gone. Ah well, fulica's being fulica's there will be plenty to go around soon enough. I will be patient.

Phew managed to get in finally. I know Kathy - I am gutted - have been looking for these for ages I am getting married at the beginning of May next year and a pair of baby white fulicas would be amazing as a wedding present - all you lucky people out there who managed to get some bear me in mind when planning your hatchings (not suggesting you donate them of course - I will pay!) ;D

when you get it maybe you should house it witrh just one of your normals, otherwise if you find eggs they might be from two normals. Cant wait to see pics! When will you have it?

Maybe you should just keep it with the 1 normal Fulica and when they do lay eggs only keep a few the first time to see what they are like when hatched. As there is no guarantee they will be albino, then you will be stuck with a load of snails that nobody wants.

You wont get albino babies from breeding with a normal fulica - but if you breed back to one of their babies, you should get a mix then. Means taking a few extra months to grow on one of their babies to breed back to - but it's the only way to do it without getting another albino from someone else. It's what I shall be doing, unless someone's albino pops out some babies and I'll nick one of those (please) LOL

Same here, that way you dont get any parents telling their kids to get rid because they didn't ask permission. Also, no offense, more likely to be a responsible long term home rather than a whim. Obviously no offense to under 18s here as I know there are many very responsible teens, the alternative being under 18s could always bring their parents along to mine to have a chat, that way at least we know the parents will have ultimate responsibility should the child decide they cant be bothered after all.

My reasons are basically the same as Lisa's and I just wouldn't want them getting into the wrong hands not being cared for or allowed to breed so then we would have ridiculous amounts of babies not saying that you personally or any person on here will be like that but it is a risk that I'm not willing to take.

It's not necessarily true that you wouldn't be able to pay without your parents knowing, there are ways.
I'm not encouraging people to do things without their parents knowing all I'm saying is it's possible.

Some people specifically prefer paypal and other people accept other forms of payment,as Kevin has listed.
