For anyone who bought unknown Archachatina from Natural World Experience, has your snails produced any eggs that have hatched?
my ones laid some eggs a few months ago, the babies hatched, but all died after a few weeks, they laid more eggs about a month or so ago, which have just started hatching, im wondering has anyone been able to rear the babies? Im keeping them seperate from the adults, at room temperature and fairly humid.

Kevin, I have not those Archachatinas, but maybe your problems with the first batch of them are the same, like I had with my first batch of wildcaught Puylaerti. I too had lost the first batches of them and me thinks that this was, because of the relatively long time of bad nutrition of them (colleting - probably waiting long time - shipping Europe - not properly treated at the sellers shop - coming to me after around 4 weeks of being collected). I am sure, this is similar to your unknowns.
Now your and my snails have setteled in, got various and nutricious food and now they are albe to produce "good" babies.
I am sure, Kevin, that those littles now will have a better chance for surviving and I am sure, that further batches will do really good! Since I am having an extra-look, that the archachatinas get good an bigger amounts of protein, babies of archachatinas are doing way better here and even the albinotic margie babies have a way better surviving rate (earlier one out of a batch survived - now only one or 2 die).
Kind regards,
Gabi
