Both of this snails have the pink apex, but one has a more orange columella, what are they? Can a suturalis too have an orange columella? My other ovum´s have a apricot-yellowish columella:

I think the rule is for now until someone finds about the cross breeds: any orange = ovum. lol. But I'm not sure.

Me to thinks could be a crossbreed. I have never seen an ovum with an pink apex before. ;D She currently counts as suturalis and homes with them...

NO its just where the periostracum is lost from the apex (the periostracum is the outer layer which contains pigmentation) and when theres no periostracum it can *sometimes* look slightly pink (on my fulica's apex anyway)

well shes an ovum with a worn-away apex. on suturalis, the periostracum is pink, on your snail, the periostracum was white but now is worn away so now looks a bit pinkish.
