I've bought three tiger babies that i've had for a week now. They are about a month old and 1 cm in shell size. They don't seem to be sick but they just lay burrowed in their moss at the bottom of the tank all the time and dont eat a lot. They also are very shy and don't wanna come out of their shells a lot. They have been eating a little when i put them on the food though. I've fed them apple, banana, fish food, carrot, dandelion leaves and sweet potato.
Is it normal for the species to act like this or is it something wrong? I'm gonna change the substrate from just moss to peat and a little moss so they can kinda choose. I'm also gonna buy a heat mat to see if they think it's too cold. I didn't think i would need a heat mat until winter but i guess it could help?

The room temperature is a bit low for them i think, its definately below 25 degrees. I think they are active at night because they are burrowing in different places when i look for them. They probably just eat in the middle of the night.
