Hi there, after I received a large number of pictures of Austrian land and fresh water snails I have been writing pages like crazy for the last few weeks. Only one I have been able to translate so far, and that is my glass snail page on www.weichtiere.at/english/gastropoda/terrestrial/vitrinidae.html. More are soon to come. Among others I have received a picture of English cave-living Oxychilus Who of you speak German might want to visit my news page on www.weichtiere.at/news.html. I will keep you posted on the english versions! *dropdeadfromexhaustion* Kind regards Robert

Please don't drop dead on us, Robert! Get some well-deserved rest! I got an error message when I clicked on that first link. I think the period at the end is the problem. I got this link to work, though: www.weichtiere.at/english/gastropoda/terrestrial/vitrinidae.html(same one, but without the period at the end) I will now have a look at the page.

That's a great page, and lovely pictures. Very sad about the Montain Glass Snail, such a beautiful little species. I hope you've had a good rest today

Thanks! I didn't, but thanks anyway. Yesterday I received another picture of the mountain glass snail from Mr Nardi in Italy, which in may opinion is even prettier than the first one, which is why I put it on the page as well.
Kind regards Rob
