So I'm thinking their box is dull now as they're getting far too big for the hidey places.
Is there materials such as clay which i can mold into durable safe for snail structures?
Thanks

How about paper mache? It might disintegrate in the humidity of the tank after a while, but it's easily made and it wouldn't be too hard for the snails.
Come to think of it, if it's paper, the snails might try to eat it. But probably not, if they had enough tasty normal food to eat instead.

Clay would be unlikely to harm the snails, but may eventiually disintigrate due to the moisture. Paper mache would be fun When my kids were little they loved weetabix. We found that weetabix, when dried onto their high chair (sounds dirty but it's easy to miss bits) used to dry rock-solid and was almost impossible to get off. I wonder if mixing some soggy weetabix with your papaer mache would make a safe and suitable substitute for the glue-water mix that is traditionally used? I've never tried it or even thought about it for the snails before..... Might work though, and it's cheap

What an idea.. yea I was wondering about pva glue and such. I don't want to risk anything reacting with them.
Paper mache never worked with me! I haven't done it since i was about eight though to be fair. I'll see if anyone else created an inside, People always do these things for reptiles.
