I set up the plants in my new tank yesterday (wandering jew, pilea, pink polka-dot plant, and an air plant) and so far it looks really cool, but I'm wondering what kind of light I should use to keep the plants healthy. The tank lid is a heat-proof metal screen from the reptile section at Petco, so I figured it wouldn't cook my poor snails' feet. I'm heading back to the store in the next couple days, but I thought I should have something in mind when I got there. Any suggestions about plant lights that are snail-friendly? My snails are Cepaea nemoralis.

Here's a link to some of the lighting discussions we've had on this board: lighting discussionsI haven't looked at every single post, so I'm not sure how relevant any given one of them may be (there were a lot more than I recall seeing!), but it's probably worth poking around to see what others have said about their experiences. Good luck, and let us know what you wind up getting.
