So i brought a bunch of plastic plants. Didn't realise the joins weren't that sturdy.
Any safe ones? Encase they rasp away at it. I know you can get aquarium silicone sealant but would this work with the fake plant plastic material?
Cheers

They hold the weight of my 3 inch rectics no problem. also my heavier margie, I've never had any leaves come off and if they do just click them back on

In response to the original posting, I think standard low-temperature hot glue would be fine; it seems to be a similar material holding my tank together.
I do have a separate series of questions though. I just got a "ready to finish" wooden miniature bird house and a resin cast toad stool. They're cute and I can't wait to paint them (already sanded, expanded the opening, and cut the bottom off of the birdhouse), but I wasn't sure how I should go about sealing the paint once it's dry. Is typical mod-podge sealant suitable, or would that leach chemicals? Does anyone have any recommendations regarding paint, sealants, or a water-proofing method (for the wood) that's okay for snails? Thanks.

So, further update on the decorations. I've painted them with gloss acrylic paint that's indoor and outdoor safe, so it's water-proof. If anyone has any feedback as to whether or not that'll be safe for them, I'd really appreciate it.
