Hello About 2 days ago I haven't seen my cepaea hortensis but I ignored it cause I thought she'd be hiding under leaves or buried in the soil but today I'm concerned so I checked everywhere in the tank but couldnt find her so I carefully checked through the soil but no sign of her so I took out all the branches checked under the soil and as I scanned through it I accidently scattered all the small eggs I'm not sure whos eggs they are but I'm pretty sure that they are c hortensis eggs cause they look smaller than c nemoralis eggs but not sure so I took every egg I could find and put them in a small container and sprayed them well anyway back to the topic so when I found the eggs I thought it might be the lost snails eggs and checked for her but no no sign of her so I checked my room but I can't find her I left some food in dark corners so I might find her munching on the in the morning but my biggest concern is that she might of escaped cause my window was open all day today I'm so worried what do I do? I don't want to lose her cause she's one of the very pretty c hortensis and also we don't have any c hortensis in my area I kindly got them from freedmchaser24 please help me!!!

It's possible the snail may have got out the window, and if it did I'm afraid there's little that can be done other than to look around outside for it.
It's also possible the snail is still in the room somewhere. I once had one of my snails escape because I left the lid off the tank for one minute and I thought he was sleeping on the side of the tank. I didn't realize he was gone until the next day, and I looked everywhere for him. I finally found him under the leaf of a houseplant right next to the tank.
Be sure to check all the places where you put food (and don't forget to clean up all the food, even if you don't find her), and let us know if you find her. Good luck!

I don't know without being able to see a clear pic of it. Glad you found your snail!

Ok it might just be some kind of harmless insect she caught when she escaped but I'll keep an eye on her just to see if the creature is still on her and if it is doing any discomfort
