Can capillary matting be used for GALS? With the huge amount of youngsters, I have now taken in, its going to cost a fortune for coir. So I was thinking that capillary matting could be removed rinsed in clean water and put back in. I could put some moss one end so they can burrow in that if they wanted to. Has anyone on here had experience of using this matting? Thanks

There were some members a few years ago posting here about using capillary matting, and IIRC they had pocitive experiences with it. But I haven't seen any discussion about it recently.

Hmmh. I found product called Lucky Reptile Hygro fleece it think it could be ideal to small tanks folded few times because it's so thin. (Picture of product). Size is about 50cm x 100cm.
