Hello, this may be quite long winded..... I have/had a mixed tank of g.a.l.s. It contained 4 albino a.fulica, 2 rodatzis, 1 jadatzi, 5 tiger snails, and 1 marginata ovum. The 4 A.fulica passed away over the last week due to old age. The jadatzi is fairly small and the tiger snails are also small, I think too small to be able to breed. I have had two batches of eggs, 80 eggs hatched sucessfully, however, I do not know whos babies they are. My A.fulica were always great breeders but as they died over the last week I dont think that the babies are theirs as they would not have been fit to breed. The babies have got yellow/brown shells and some of them are albino footed and some are grey footed. When my A.fulica have bred in the past all their babies have been albino. This makes me think that they are either a cross speices, Albino A.fulica crossed with a rodatzi, or they are roadtzi/jadatzi mixes.
If anyone could please help me identify the babies it would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone would like to purchase any then please PM me.
One more quick question, do marginata ovum breed easily? As I would like to purchase a friend for my one and see if they will breed. pictures to follow, sorry they are not very good at all as my camera is rubbish...........

Just room temperature and in the winter they have a heat mat on. it is always warm in my bedroom where they are prob about 20degrees celcius. I take the eggs out of the main tank though and put them on top of my gecko tank which is warmer. I keep them there until they are juveniles

If you have a mix of various subspecies of fulica, they readily interbreed - meaning you cant guarantee you have anything but a mix of hybrids? They wouldnt be rodatzi, or jade, or standard fulica. They would be hybrid fulica.

I don't think that any of the albino fulicas I have would have been able to breed. So if 2 of my rodatzis bred together what would they have? if they are all hybrid fulica are they sellable for pets etc?

Are the tigers and margie active? It's just that they like it quite a bit warmer than that. Rod x rod = baby rods I believe but it sounds like you have a mix so I could well be wrong lol
