Hello!
I am looking for a single Helix as a buddy for mine. I live in the states so I don't know if there is anyone or anyway someone could send one to Wisconsin. I tried to contact the Wisconsin Wildlife Association for information but they ignored it.
So if anyone has any information where I could get a single healthy helix it would be appreciated!
Thanks!

A wildlife association probably doesn't know how to answer a question about snails. Snails are the Rodney Dangerfield of animals -- they "don't get no respect" from most wildlife biologists.
In case there is no other response to your request, you can look for snails around the creek banks of any limestone-rich hills or mountains in your area, because the waters will be rich in calcium. (Can't guarantee you'll find aspersas specifically, though.) Or poke around near plant nurseries and garden centers for escapees; maybe ask the staff if they ever find snails on their plants and if you could have one?

I would get some wild caught ones for you but i live in the uk ;/ But i find aspersa's in bricks you know the ones with holes in? Just get about five of those and put them in a damp shaded area and you dont have to have them in a special way just so the snails can be in the hole. I find they usually are in groups in one of the holes. Hope i helped! It works every time for me
