So, I've been phoning around and e-mailing some different stores around the area and asking for some different substrates. I phoned the largest pet store and asked if they had coir blocks, and the girl said no, but they do have coco husk. It's from ExoTerra, and it seems to be safe. From photos, it looks a bit thick, kind of like bark chips, and I'm not sure if a snail would like that. I also phoned Wal-Mart (None of the garden centres around here are very good) and asked if they had peat moss. They said they didn't have any in, but they will soon. I'm not sure what to get. Peat moss seems like a better option, since it's a lot softer and seems comfier. What do you guys think?

I haven't got any. My last snail died. I have to wait until Spring to find some, since I'm not allowed to buy them.

I can't. I'm not allowed to buy/order/trade/receive snails, especially not large ones.
