Busy today aren't I?! Right now in-breeding. All my pairs of snails (apart from maybe brixton tigers) are siblings. So if they were to mate, the babies would be in-bred. So would it be wrong to hatch those babies? I am asking especially for the Ventricosa. As far as we know Lucy is the only person that has them, so I am going to have 1 hell of a job on my hands if I want to breed Ventricosa. I'm not sure how in-breeding works with snails. I know in alot of other animals it can cause problems. Nat

inbred snails are not as pretty, maybe more susceptible to illness not sure.

I don't think it would cause a problem,i'm not sure how much inbreeding is a problem with snails.I know it is in other animals but they don't get a 100+ young. It seems to me that because snails live in a fairly small area inbreeding is inevitable and I never have seen snails with 3 tentacles in my garden (yet).
